Brussels Motor Show is among the longest-running car shows in the world, with its 102nd edition scheduled for January 2026. Traditionally held in January, the Brussels Motorshow has always been the season opener for auto exhibitions. While it has played a key role in the Benelux region, it has historically been somewhat overlooked on the European stage, with Geneva’s spring show claiming more spotlight. That, however, has changed.
The Geneva Motor Show is no longer held due to a lack of interest from exhibitors, and as a result, Brussels has gained significance. The European Car of the Year award ceremony has been relocated from Geneva to Brussels, prompting several major carmakers, especially those focused on the Benelux market, to unveil their latest models in the Belgian capital. This has suddenly elevated Brussels Motor Show to one of the most exciting automotive exhibitions in Europe.
In 2026, 64 car brands and 28 motorcycle manufacturers will take part in the show. Organizers expect over 300,000 visitors to attend.
There is much to look forward to, as numerous automotive debuts are planned. Kia will reveal an entirely new compact EV called the EV2. The Stellantis Group will have a strong presence with 11 brands attending. The facelifts of the Opel Astra and Peugeot 408 will make their global premiere in Brussels. Citroën will present an intriguing MPV concept named Elo, while Fiat will showcase its new family model Qubo L.
Also noteworthy is the presence of Leapmotor, a young Chinese brand now part of the Stellantis portfolio. In Brussels, they’ll unveil the new B03X crossover, reveal the interior of the B05 hatchback for the first time, and present the B10 SUV, including a version equipped with a range extender (REEV).
Almost all brands active in the Belgian market will be represented, including exotic marques like Bugatti, Lotus, and Lamborghini. The event’s significance is further enhanced by its function as a commercial sales show.

The 2026 Brussels Motor Show will take place from January 9 to January 18 at the iconic Brussels Expo halls, centrally located in the Belgian capital. Thanks to its location, it is easily accessible by all modes of transport. Parking for cars and motorcycles is available right next to the venue, with Parking Lot C recommended, as it lies outside Brussels’ low-emission zone. However, parking costs €12.
If using public transport, get off at the Heysel stop, whether you’re coming by bus, tram, or metro.
The first day (January 9) is mainly reserved for press and professionals. Visitors are advised to attend from Saturday, January 10 onwards. Tickets are priced at €15 for adults (16+), €7.50 for children aged 10–15, and free for children under 10.
If you’re planning to drive from Prague to Brussels, expect a journey of approximately nine hours. There are two main routes:
Alternatively, you can fly. Brussels Airlines and others offer daily flights from Prague to Brussels. A round-trip ticket for a January weekend during the motor show period can be found for around €90 (CZK 2,200).
