Leapmotor B10 2025

This is new Chinese competitor for Škoda Elroq. It’s called Leapmotor B10 and attracts with its spacious interior

Chinese marque Leapmotor, part of the Stellantis group, only recently announced its entry into the Czech market and is promising to further broaden its line-up. After the T03 city car and the family-oriented C10 crossover, the range will be joined by the compact electric SUV Leapmotor B10, which is now making its official world debut.

Leapmotor describes the design as a modern take on youthful energy, which in practice results in fairly futuristic shapes that follow the larger C10. The newcomer measures 4,515 mm in length with a 2,735 mm wheel-base, making it a typical representative of the compact-SUV class and just a shade larger than the Czech-made Škoda Elroq.

Dominating the cabin is a floating touchscreen measuring 14.6 inches and boasting high resolution, serving as the tech centrepiece of the dashboard. Leapmotor promises plenty of room and versatility, allowing the interior to transform into a relaxation zone. Nor are handy cubby spaces lacking; the company claims there are 22 of them in total.

As for the powertrain, the plan currently calls for a 160 kW electric motor delivering 240 Nm of torque, good for 0-100 km/h in a flat eight seconds and a top speed of 170 km/h. Two battery packs will be offered: 56.2 kWh (range up to 361 km WLTP) and 67.1 kWh (up to 434 km). Both support DC fast charging at up to 168 kW, enabling a 30–80 % charge in just 20 minutes.

Incidentally, the B10 is the brand’s first model built on the all-new LEAP 3.5 architecture, granting the car 50:50 weight distribution, a multi-link rear suspension and rear-wheel drive.

“The new Leapmotor model, the B10, is a real hot newcomer in a highly popular segment. We plan to show the first units in the Czech Republic ideally this October,” says Lukáš Hošek, Leapmotor’s country director for the Czech Republic.

Exact pricing, trim levels and Czech availability are still to be finalised. Prices on foreign markets in Europe start at €29,900. Like the marque’s other models, the B10 aims to attract buyers with an affordable sticker price, positioning itself as one of the cheapest battery-powered compact SUVs on the market.
